Here's a few dodgy pics of the hybid engine I'll putting together.

It's a CA20 block with a CA18DET head. Other goodies include an EVO III turbo (IHI TD05-16G), Trust 550cc injectors, Power FC, AVC-R, Splitfire coilpacks, etc.

Expected power will initially be 200-250hp (flywheel) or 115-135rwKW. After it's runing period & some track time I'll up the boost & see how much power the stock CA20 rods can handle. They've only been shot peened & are nowhere near as thich as the CA18DET items.

It won't. I also need a clutch, finish of the engine assembly, installation, wiring, FMIC piping, exhaust, panel work, new fibreglass front air dam. It was always going to be a push to finish it in time.

It's currently getting the heart transplant. The engine should be in by now. Wiring, cooler & exhaust after that & it'll be ready to couch into life for the first time.

You mean to putt around in.....aint no fangin in that POS. It's barely worn through a pair of already illegal rear tyres after several thousand k's with a "locked" rear diff. Pathetic. I expect the ~200hp S12 to go through the Federalies a fair bit quicker.
