It is next week, and the Big Block CA is still in intensive care but is expected to make a full recovery later this week or early next.

well the car is back in my garage. Sadly it's still not running. Yet I was charged over $5000 for the pleasure. Un-be-ferking-leavable.

It seems the Power FC has shat itself. The car starts but only runs for a few seconds & chokes. The wiring loom seems to be perfect, there's pleanty of fuel, good spark, all the right relays click at the right time.....it's just wont run.

You have to be getting itchy feet by now !!!..

is it a case of getting a new power FC. Can you try the old change the capacitors trick? has saved my ass in the past.

I had the Auto Leccy take a peek at the innards of the PFC & it's absolutely nothing like a stock CA ECU (unlike what I've been told in the past). Basically it's 1 big board with everything on it so we've got no idea what is what. Regardless it all looks ok, no corrosion or such.

Next option is to grab a stock ECU & AFM & get it running roughly on that. Then the Leccy will build a funky piggyback box similar to an e-manage to run it. In the meantime I'm looking for someone who can repair PFC's or can send it back to Japan to do said.

While all that's happening I'm wiring up the power windows, mirrors, central locking, alarm, guages, etc. There's wires running everywhere.
